This new team brings together INSERM full-time researchers (3), associate professors from UM (1) and EPHE
(3) and permanent research supporting staff (4), mainly recruited by EPHE, with a wide range of technical
skills (animal model management, cellular and molecular biology, microscopy and imaging, microfluidics,
etc.). This organization will give us the human resources, material and financial facilities and scientific
expertise needed to address both the research questions surrounding our project and the missions of an
EPST, i.e., to:
– carry out cutting-edge scientific research and promote it through scientific publications linked to
clinical practice
– provide a scientific training through research by supervising Master’s and PhD students and post-
doctoral trainees
– contribute to the transmission of knowledge by linking our research themes to our Masters courses
– share and disseminate scientific knowledge in order to strengthen science-society interactions by
communicating via patient associations and more broadly to civil society through the ITEV.
